Order of the Eastern Star was founded in 1876.
The largest fraternal organization in the world to which both men and women may belong. Master Masons and their female relatives enjoy social activities, community service, charitable projects and friendships with each other.

Order of the Rainbow for Girls was founded in 1922
Membership consists of the young woman from the ages
of eleven and twenty and sponsored by a member of a Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star Chapter, Order of Amaranth, or White Shrine. Its purpose is "the teaching of right living."
