The Masonic Cancer Center Auxiliary was
established in 1958.

It is a group of very dedicated volunteers who enjoy giving of their time to help those in need. We make rounds on 7C, 7D and 3rd floors. We give out lap robes, slippers, cathy caps and sometimes a stuffed animal or toy to the very young patients. The patients are always surprised and thrilled to receive a gift without any strings attached. We offer angel food cake and coffee to all the patients and visitors.

The volunteers also do collating in the Short Stay Unit. We put together admission and diagnostic packets on the first and third Tuesdays and five times a year on the fifth Tuesdays. These packets are used every day and are greatly appreciated by the nurses.

I would like to encourage all Sisters and Brothers to come join us on the second Wednesday of the month in room M-3, located on the lower level of the Masonic Cancer Hospital. Lunch and parking (near the hospital) are provided. Our dues are still only $3.00 a year. If you have extra time please come and join us, it's very rewarding.
Contact me if you need any further information.

We have done various volunteer activities
at the Masonic Homes and Units by visiting
residents, assisting them to attend church, providing aid for shopping and other activities and by holding Chapter meetings at the home so the residents may enjoy a meeting with us.
