BUTTER MILK SCONES by Sandy Munster

3 C Flour
1/3 C Sugar
2 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1/2 Tsp Soda
3/4 Tsp Salt
  11/2 Sticks Unsalted Butter
1 C Buttermilk
1 Tsp Lemon or Orange Zest
1/2 Sticks Unsalted Melted
Butter for brushing
1/4 C Sugar for dusting

Mix dry ingredients, add small pieces of butter.
Mix like biscuit. Don't worry about lumps.
Add buttermilk. Mix slightly.
Form two balls. Cut each ball in half.
Make into 12" by 5" rectangle.
Spread with melted butter.
Roll up and slight in two.
Cut into six rolls. Sprinkle with sugar.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 425°
